T.H. Ellingsworth is an author born out of the era where you did what you had to, to get the job done. He first wrote Hollywood Morning Watch LAPD in 1982. No one would publish him. He’s now taken it upon himself to get his story out there.

Born in Louisville KY, Thomas was raised in Southern California, a rocks throw away from Hollywood, CA. Thomas, an Army Veteran, served honorably during the Vietnam war era.  After returning home from deployment felt a strong need to continue his calling to protect and serve the community he grew up in by joining the Los Angeles Police Department at the age of twenty-four.  He spent 10 years with the LAPD fighting crime, catching criminals and serving justice as was intended to be served, as uniformed patrol, reception duty, and the Hollywood jail. He resigned in 1979 after becoming disheartened by a perceived lack of accomplishment within law enforcement.   He later gained employment as Close Protection (bodyguard) and Personal Aide for a Fortune 500 business executives and their families. He lives with his wife of 60 years, in a suburb of Los Angeles, California.  He has three children, and two grandchildren
